Served at the 2023 Berries & BarBQ Wine Trail, Bias Winery

Marinade:

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tsp honey
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup Strawberry Weisser Flieder wine
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp fresh Thyme
1/4 tsp pepper

In a small bowl, whisk together the above ingredients. Place chicken in a plastic bag and pour half of the marinade into the bag. Chill for a minimum of 20 minutes to marinate.

Salad:

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onions
3 ounces feta cheese
3 cups strawberries
6 cups fresh spinach

Take your marinated chicken breasts and grill over medium heat until done. Set the chicken on a cutting board, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice. In a large bowl, add all salad ingredients, and coat with the remaining marinade.

Serve immediately paired with a refreshing glass of Strawberry Weisser Flieder!
