What is the Hermann Wine Trail?

The Hermann Wine Trail is a group of seven family-owned wineries, located in some of the prettiest scenery in Missouri, a route that winds for some 30 miles in the Hermann and New Haven area.

What events does the Hermann Wine Trail host?

Chocolate Wine Trail – Fourth weekend of February
Farmers’ Table Wine Trail – Usually held early Saturday in April
Wild Bacon Wine Trail – First weekend of May
Berries & BarBQ Wine Trail – Last full weekend of July
Holiday Fare Wine Trail – Third weekend of November
Say Cheese Wine Trail – Second Saturday of December

What is included in the $35 event ticket price?

Ticket price includes a wine & food sample at each winery, and a souvenir wine glass you will receive at your first winery stop. Visit any or all of the participating wineries and enter a drawing for a one night’s stay at a Hermann B&B and a $30 gift certificate from each winery.

Is transportation provided with a wine trail event ticket?

Transportation to each of the wineries is NOT included in the ticket price. We recommend guests provide their own transportation to each winery so they can leisurely visit the wineries and enjoy all that each winery offers.

What are the hours for the wine trail events?

Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm

Farmers’ Table Wine Trail and Say Cheese Wine Trail are one day events, Saturday 10 am-5 pm

Are event tickets available the day of the event?

No, tickets are not available the day of the event. Please order your tickets in advance. Our events sell out in advance. Ticket availability will be posted on our Facebook page.

Do wineries provide special foods for people with food allergies?

Most of our events sell out, which is 1200 tickets. Wineries are not able to prepare special foods for people with food allergies.

Does the event ticket include general wine tasting at the wineries?

No, the ticket price just covers the wine and food pairing at each winery.

Does the Hermann Trolley visit all seven wineries?

The Hermann Trolley is a private business, not associated with the Hermann Wine Trail. They do NOT visit all seven wineries; they do NOT visit Bias Winery, Curling Vine Winery, or Röbller Vineyard.

It is raining, will you refund my ticket?

Tickets are non-refundable. We NEVER cancel wine trail events. (Unless for COVID-19 issues)

Do you sell gift certificates for wine trail tickets?

Yes, if you want to purchase a gift certificate for a wine trail event, please contact us. We will respond with the directions on how to do that.

Does the wine trail organize bachelorette parties?

No, the Hermann Wine Trail does not organize bachelorette parties. You can contact individual wineries for assistance. Most of our wineries have large space to accommodate parties.

What else is there to do in Hermann?

While visiting the Hermann Wine Trail there are many opportunities to make your time in Hermann complete! There is a vast array of shops, restaurants, museums, B & B’s, Inns, distilleries and breweries! Read more

Do wineries have lodging accommodations?

Are picnic baskets allowed on winery grounds?

Each winery has their own policy for allowing outside food to be brought on their property:

Adam Puchta Winery – Yes

Bias Winery – Yes

Curling Vine Winery – Yes

G. Husmann Wine Company – Yes, you can bring food to the patio but not inside the buildings.

Hermannhof Winery – Yes, you can bring in food to the patio but not inside the buildings.

Reserve Cellars – Yes, you can bring in food to the patio but not inside the buildings.

Röbller Vineyard – Yes
