Served at the 2023 Say Cheese Wine Trail, Curling Vine Winery
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
1 green onion, finely chopped
2 eggs
1 cup milk
3 Tbsp sugar
Hot Honey
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F
Grease 8″ x 4″ loaf pan
Whisk dry ingredients in a medium bowl
Stir in cheese and green onion
In a separate bowl, whisk eggs until foamy. add milk, sugar, and oil.
Add wet ingredients to the dry mixture and still just until moistened. Do NOT overmix!
Pour into a greased pan and bake for 50 minutes, until golden.
Top with Hot Honey – to taste
