Served at the 2023 Say Cheese Wine Trail, Adam Puchta Winery


4 oz. blue cheese
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
3 eggs
1/4 cup green onions
1 cup buttery crackers
1/2 cup walnuts
2 Tbsp honey
3 Tbsp butter
16 oz softened cream cheese
1/4 cup heavy cream


  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Lightly spray a 6- or 7-inch springform pan with cooking spray.
  • Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit the bottom of the pan. Place in the pan and spray again; set aside.
  • Combine crackers, walnuts, honey, and butter; mix well. Press into the bottom & about 1 1/2 inch up the sides of the springform pan.
  • Beat cream cheese, blue cheese, and cream in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
  • Beat in basil, garlic powder, and white pepper.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until the egg is combined.
  • Fold in green onions. Pour into prepared crust. Tent with foil. Place in preheated oven.
  • Bake until the center has a little jiggle, about 40 minutes.
  • Cool on a baking rack for 1 hour and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
