Served at the 2024 Wild Bacon Wine Trail, Curling Vine Winery


1/2 lb. Black-eyed peas (prepare as package directs)
1 small onion, chopped
1 TBSP garlic, minced
1/2 tsp Tony Chacheres Seasoning
1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
4 cups water or chicken stock


  • After the prepared peas are ready, add the rest of the ingredients to the pot
  • Simmer on the stovetop for 20-30 minutes, or until peas are the texture you like
  • Great served with cornbread!

Serve with Curling Vine Winery Well Deserved Red.
