Served at the 2013 Holiday Fare Wine Trail
2 Bananas Sliced
1c. Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Rum or Brandy
2 Tbsp Orange Juice
Melt butter in sauté pan over medium heat.
Add bananas sauté for 1 minute. Frequently toss bananas to keep from scorching.
Add brandy or rum and allow to catch fire, burning off alcohol.
Once fire is out, add orange juice and brown sugar.
Cook until sugar is dissolved. Serves 6.
Serve over French Vanilla Ice Cream. Pair with Hermannhof Winery Vignoles
