Served at the 2022 Wild Bacon Wine Trail, Bias Winery
12 King Hawaiian Rolls
1/2 cup butter
1 Tbsp chopped fresh green onions
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
12 slices Colby Jack cheese
1 lb. shredded cooked chicken
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/3 cup Ranch dressing
2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
Slice rolls through the middle, and place the bottoms on the pan. In a small saucepan, melt together butter, green onions, garlic salt, and onion powder.
Brush the bottoms of the rolls with about a 1/3 of the butter mixture. Layer 1/2 of the cheese on the bottom, then spread chicken and bacon crumbles.
Drizzle with Ranch dressing, and top with remaining cheese. Brush liberally with the remaining butter mixture. Place the roll tops on the cheese, brush with butter mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan chees. Cover loosely with foil, and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
