Harvest has begun in Hermann wine country!
This is an exciting time of the year for the Hermann Wine Trail wineries, when they can finally harvest the grapes they have so lovingly tended all year. Winemakers will then ferment the sweet juice and produce the wonderful wines we are so well know for; Vignoles, Seyval, Vidal and so many more. The air in Hermann will be laced with the delicious aroma of fermenting juice for the next month! There is no smell quite like it!
Labor Day weekend on the Hermann Wine Trail will be much fun, with lots of live music, great wine and food!
The Hermann Wine Trail doesn’t have an organized event this weekend but the wineries are all open for wine tasting and fun. Many of the wineries on the trail have live music and special events this weekend, so check the schedule below or go to our calendar of events here.
Remember to get your tickets early for the upcoming Holiday Fare Wine Trail Nov. 15 & 16 and Say Cheese Wine Trail Dec. 13 & 14! Tickets are available on-line here or you can call the Hermann Welcome Center to purchase, 800-932-8687.
