Hermann wine country is springing to life! The Redbuds are are showing their vibrant purple color, the Forsythia bushes are blooming in full glory and the wineries are gearing up for visitors with events and live music!
Our next wine trail event, Wild Bacon Wine Trail on May 2 & 3, is right around the corner too! Tickets almost soled out last year so be sure to get your tickets soon. - Adam Puchta Winery
- Friday April 17 – Bubbles & Burgers, 6-8 pm. Kick back and relax at Adam Puchta Winery’s Bubbles & Burger happy hour. Enjoy a build-your-own slider bar with classic and premium toppings, housemade sauces and gourmet chips. An evening perfectly paired with our award-winning sparkling wine. Bubbles & Burgers is open to the public as a ticketed event, $30/person and is limited to 30 people. Call Aimee at 573-486-5596 to reserve your tickets.
- OakGlenn Winery
- Saturday April 11 – Live Music, 2-6 pm. Enjoy the afternoon at OakGlenn Winery listening to the soulful sounds of Bryan Foggs. Bryan has been in the St. Louis music scene for many years and sings the classics from Mustang Sally to Let’s Stay Together and more. FREE performance!
- Sunday April 12 – Live Music, 1-5 pm. Born and raised in southern Missouri, Scottie Kemp has music running through his veins. Scottie is a solo artist preforming country classics and great classic rock songs. Enjoy this Sunday afternoon of FREE live music at OakGlenn Winery!
- Saturday April 18 – Live Music, 2-6 pm. The Sarah Marie Duo is a local group from Washington, MO. They perform music of today to jazz vocals and everything in between. A FREE music performance you don’t wanna miss.
- Sunday April 19 – Live Music, 1-5 pm. Johnny Henry is a St. Louis native who has just released his debut album which features a collection of music that exemplifies Johnny’s personality and introduces Country music fans to his big voice and compelling story. You don’t wanna miss this afternoon of FREE music at OakGlenn Winery!

- Saturday April 11 – Norton Tasting and Dinner, (this event is sold out!)
- TIME: The champagne reception begins at 5:30 p.m. WHAT: 26th Annual Norton tasting and dinner. The evening begins with a sparkling wine & appetizer reception in the Apostle Cellar, then on to our Sherry House for the Ten-year vertical Norton tasting. There you will have the opportunity to taste ten vintages, side-by-side, with winemaker Dave Johnson. The tasting is followed by a three-course gourmet wine dinner. This evening you will also get the first chance to purchase some of the older Norton vintages. WHERE: The sparkling wine & appetizer reception will be held in the Apostle Cellar followed by the tasting in the Sherry House and then dinner will be served at Vintage Restaurant. MENU: The sparkling wine reception will feature an assortment of appetizers and the dinner will be a three-course gourmet dinner matched with Stone Hill’s award-winning wines (the menu is yet to be determined). TICKETS: Reservations are required. Seating is limited to 120 people. Tickets are non-refundable and cancellations are not accepted. COST: $140 per person, all-inclusive. Tickets will be mailed.
- Saturday April 18 – Grapes to Glass, 2:45-5 pm. A special VIP winery tour and tasting. A member of our winemaking staff will lead you behind the scenes on a visit to our Norton vineyard, cellars, tank building & press house, where you’ll learn a bit of the technical side & a few secrets to our winemaking success. Reservations required; limited space. Tickets available online at stonehillwinery

Upcoming Hermann Events:
- Riverside Short Film & Video Festival – April 10 & 11 – Now in its third year, the Riverside Short Film & Video Festival, based in in the 61-person town of McKittrick, attracts hundreds of entries from around the world. “We really like the idea of showcasing new, young filmmakers, and most of them start with short films,” says festival director Patti Ryan. Festival events include a movie and TV triva night and “Wild Hollywood” costume party.
- Sidewalk Sale – April 10 & 11 – More than 30 Hermann merchants are offering great deals and special promotions this weekend. Sales start Thursday and continue throughout the weekend.
- Tour of Hermann – April 11 & 12 – Cyclists compete in a two-day event with five courses, totaling more than 200 miles, on gravel roads in and around Hermann.
