Hermann is in the totality path of a rare total solar eclipse occurring on August 21. This year marks the 99th year since this event has happened in the state of Missouri. Make plans to spend the weekend in Hermann! The annual Hermann Wine & Jazz Festival is Saturday, August 19, 12:30 pm-9 pm. Hermann is teaming up with St. Louis radio station HIP 96.3 HD-3 to bring a great line-up of jazz performances to the Amphitheater. Grab a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show!

- Join us for a spectacular view of the Missouri River while you wait for the total solar eclipse viewing! We’ve created a special wine vintage to celebrate and toast the once in a lifetime event!
- Winery hours: 9 am-6 pm.
- Robller Vineyards – Solar Eclipse Party
- This year marks the 99th year since this event has happened in the state of Missouri. We are lucky enough to have a prime location in the path of the Solar Eclipse this year with about 2 min15sec of total darkness. The Prime Viewing Time is between 1:15 p.m. and 1:18 p.m according to maps provided by NASA.
- We want to invite Everyone out with all their gear to document this “once in a lifetime” event to our Hillside with a vast viewing area to enjoy. We have Wine and will have BBQ available, yet you are welcome to bring a picnic basket full of your favorites goodies & yard games to enjoy. (no outside alcohol please) This is a Family Friendly day for all to enjoy.

- We will also have Solar Glasses to safely view this event, which can be purchased before the event anytime we are open.

- Stone Hill Winery – Eclipse Picnic
- Hermann is in the totality path of a rare total solar eclipse. This will be the first total solar eclipse in the continental U.S. in 38 years. Purchase a picnic lunch from our Vintage Restaurant and enjoy on the hill while watching this rare eclipse take place.
- Partial Phase starts at 11:47 am and totality starts at 1:14pm lasting 2m 30s
- Viewing Party on the Back Hill (best view).
- Box Lunches and beverages (including our “Kosmic” wine slushies) available for purchase in winery salesroom from 11 am to 2 pm
- Viewing Glasses provided until supply runs out.
- COST: $10 per boxed lunches, or FREE to just come watch.
- Don’t forget to bring your picnic blankets.
- Boxed Lunch MENU: Ham Sandwich or Chicken Salad Sandwich option. All boxes served with chips, a chocolate chip cookie & Solar Glasses. Beverage not included.
